Heifer International is a non-profit organization that fights hunger and poverty by helping those all around the world. Since 1944, they have helped more than 9.2 million families in more than 125 countries and 40 of the United States. Monies donated go towards purchasing animals such as heifers, goats, pigs etc…and given to people in need.

Thepeople are taught how to raise and care for the animals, use them for food, clothing, and income. They must agree to pass on one or more of their animal’s offspring to another family in need, along with the training and skills they haveacquired. This unique approach creates a ripple effect that transforms lives and communities. It is truly the gift that
keeps giving!

1st Congo kids are holding a Hop~Skip~Bounce~athon on Sunday February 19 to help raise money to purchase animals for the Heifer project.

Sponsor a child with a pledge amount per Hop~Bounce~Bounce, or a flat amount!
