Knitting for Peace

  • Meets the second Tuesday at 1 p.m. at church

 

Second Tuesday Peace Vespers

  • Meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. for a half hour of quiet guided prayers for peace in the sanctuary.

Adult Education

  • Explores the deep questions "Why?" "How?" & "Why not?" on topics ranging from the special Bible studies to church and theological history to education on health issues.
  • Meets Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
  • Adult Ed is coming to a close for the 2009/10 year. The last Adult Ed will be on May 16, 2010.

 

Mental Wellness Group

  • Meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 6:30 p.m. at church

Mental illnesses affect about one in five people in their lifetime. Parents, spouses, siblings, children, other relatives and friends are alos affected, The national Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota provides resource information and over 140 free educational classes around the state for families each year. NAMI also has 23 family support groups, more than 20 support groups for people living with a mental illness, and Vet Connection groups for returning soldiers.
