  • Social Networking Site for Young Adults                           

    NAMI national has developed a social networking site for young adults to connect with their peers, and share their personal stories, creativity and helpful resources. 

  • Join the conversation at www.strengthofus.org.     

  • Volunteers needed:  The Anoka County Regional Treatment Center (7th Avenue - Anoka) is in need of volunteers to help in the Snack Bar, General Store and the Library.  Generally, volunteers are needed between the hours of 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM.  Residents and staff are very appreciative of the help offered.  It is a warm, caring environment.
  • People with mental illness who enrich our lives:   JK Rowling, Patty Duke, Carrie Fisher, Jane Pauley, Ty Pennington, Richard Dreyfuss, Ernest Hemmingway, and Vincent Van Gogh.

 

Writing Group

  • Meets the second Thursday of every month from 7 to 9 pm.
